In 2009 she landed the #2 spot on Maxim’s Hot 100 List, and as of 2010 the 24-year-old Fox was ranked at #5.

Fox followed up this ultra-successful year by appearing in a comedy-romance in 2008. In How to Lose Friends & Alienate People, the now-established actress starred alongside Kirsten Dunst and Jeff Bridges in the screen version of the Toby Young memoir. In April of 2009, Megan Fox began filming the Western-themed Jonah Hex with actor Josh Brolin. He played the title character and she was love interest: a gun-toting, corset-wearing beauty named Leila. The movie, based on the comic book, released in June of 2010 to poor reviews. The previews had been distracting, due mainly to Fox in the corset, but Jonah Hex ultimately flopped at the box office.
