Orange chicken is so easy and quick, you will wonder why you haven’t made it yet. This meal can be baked or grilled. This recipe calls for grilling, but it really is your choice.
6 boneless chicken breasts
2 tablespoons of chives (diced)
1/2 orange marmalade
2 tablespoons of balsamic vinegar
1 teaspoon of garlic salt
4 teaspoons of olive oil
1 teaspoon of sage
Fresh ground black pepper to taste
Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
In a saucepan, add your marmalade, olive oil, sage, chives and vinegar and stir over low heat until you have a smooth creamy sauce. Remove 1/4 of your sauce and set aside for later. Partially cook your chicken, seasoning it with your pepper and garlic sauce. Spread on your orange sauce and continue cooking thoroughly. As you flip your chicken, add more sauce for an even deeper, richer taste. When serving to your guest, make sure to give everyone a small dish of your reserve sauce, as an added bonus.
Wrap the prepared chicken in aluminum foil and grill for 25 minutes.
Orange chicken can be served with a vast number of side dishes. Your family and friends will be asking you to make it every chance they get.
