How many times have you heard “What’s for supper?” Next time try this, sausage, egg,and cheese pie.
Heat oven to 350 degrees.
1 9″ frozen pie shell
1/2 pound your favorite breakfast sausage
1/4 cup chopped onion
1/4 cup chopped green bell pepper
1& 1/2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
3 large eggs
1& 1/2 cups milk
Crumble sausage into skillet. Add onion and peppers. Cook until sausage is no longer pink. Place in pie shell. Top with cheese. Beat eggs and milk together and pour over cheese. Place on cookie sheet and bake for 30 to40 minutes or until knife inserted into center comes out clean.
Serve with steamed veggies and hot biscuits
